boost – prologue

Few minutes passes and she puts her phone away and gets out.  “Sorry about that, just had to check in with babysitter.”

“No problem, I checked in to so all good on my end as well.”

Walking together we become quiet, almost like we are unsure on what to say or do.  I open the door for her and let her pass through first.  She smiles as she walks into the restaurant and heads to the counter to order.  I follow behind her, wishing she didn’t have a long coat on so I can admire her ass.  I glance around the room and noticed it was not that busy, only a few patrons sitting around chit chatting.  As she finish ordering I moved to the counter and placed my order.  Within a few minutes we had our orders and picked a table that allowed us to be isolated as much as possible.

Sipping my coffee I look at her.  She is very sexy, with long blonde hair and luscious breasts.  Really not a breasts guy but the way they are showing off in that dress has me almost reaching out to touch them.  As I try to format a question to break the silence she asked the question that I usually hope is not the first one.

“So you have kids?”

Smiling I nodded, “Yes, two boys.”   Glancing down at my coffee, “and they seem to keep growing.  How about you, you said you called your babysitter?”

“Two girls.  And yes I have a babysitter watching them.  I am recently separated.  What about you?”

I really hate this question.  Not something that you can easily explain, let alone who ever asked understand it.  Being honest is one good qualities, but sometimes I am too honest.  “Well, to be honest I am married.  We have been in an open marriage for the past three years.”  The smile disappeared from  her face as I stated this and I knew that the options have now reduced to nil.  “It is not normal, and fully understand if you are not comfortable with my situation.”

You can almost see her mind working as she process what I just told her.  She sipped her coffee and what felt like eternity was only about 10 seconds.  “So you are allowed to see other people?  And she is okay with that?  And she can see other people?  Sorry, to many questions.”

Slight grin comes across my face, “Well the basic answer is yes to all of those questions.  We have friends that we see on occasion.  Although we find it hard to get out sometimes with scheduling the kids and such.”  Well so far so good, she has not bolted for the door.  Not getting my hopes up I decide to pursue a bit further.  “She knows I am out right now with someone.  Although I am a bit of a loss.  Can I ask what your name is?  I am Sean.”

“Nice to meet you Sean, I am Angie.”  she now looks a bit nervous, “You told her you are out with someone?”

“Like I said, we are completely open.  And I can see by your face that you are a bit surprised?”  Taking the last sip of my coffee I wonder how this proceed.  Will she accept this situation?

“Well this is not normal,” she states.

“Nope, not at all.”

“So she doesn’t care that you are out with another woman,” as she shifts a bit comfortably in her seat.

“She gets off on it actually.  She likes the idea of me with another woman.  I could go into more detail but I don’t want to make you uncomfortable.”  I take another sip of my coffee and realize it is empty so put it back down.

“She gets off on it?” she questions.

“Yep, ” looking at her to see if I can get a read from her, “The first time she saw me with another woman she was soaked.”  She looked a bit surprised by this statement, “Hope this is not to much information.”

She takes a sip of her coffee.  Seems she is trying to decide on how to proceed. “No, just bit surprised.”

“How is your coffee doing,” I shake my empty cup.  “I am debating on another one unless you have to leave soon?”  This is the test, since if she wants to bolt this is her out.  Looking at her I see that she is contemplating on what to do.  She takes another sip of her coffee, “Well I am good for a while.  So unless you have to race home…”

“No all good.”  I get up and head towards the counter to order another coffee.  “Do you need another one,” I ask.

“I am good with what I have.  Any more and I will be up all night.”

Chuckling out loud I smile and nod, “Yes that would be bad if you plan to sleep.  Good if other things, ” my smile gets larger, “might happen.”  Getting to the counter I order my coffee and wait for it to be made.  Glancing back to her I see her phone out and typing quickly on it.  Collecting my coffee and heading back to the table I suspect this might go well, although her texting is probably to babysitter or friend.  We shall see how the night goes…
