So you are all are asking why I am so quiet this past week? Well okay I at least can dream that you are all asking. The simple answer, busy. After the long weekend work has been not very kind. Plus it is a short week so things seem to pile up pretty quick.
The long weekend was great. The drive there actually wasn’t to bad, and after we picked up the kids on the way we made good time in getting too our quad’s house. Once we got the kids and dogs settled, we got a drink and got caught up. We headed off to bed not to late for some well deserved one on one.
The kids being around only makes us more concious on actions and words. We usually get a few hours alone over the weekend, which this time had the next door neighbour getting a show. I don’t think he saw anything, but the window was open so I suspect he heard Lexxi. Either way we had a blast, and look forward to being there again.
As to the return home, it was long. I was wide awake all day but once I got into the car not more than an hour into the drive I was tired. I let my wife drive the last half of the trip and upon getting home, even though I slept pretty much the rest of the way, I was still tired. I guess the weekend drained me more than I thought.
Work has been chaotic, and with that it means my mind can’t wander. My fwb have also been busy so not really much time to meet or chat. I hope to see one of them this weekend at some point, even if it is for drinks, although I hope it is more. Getting the restless itch again, and it needs to be scratched.
My short story is getting there, have now re-edited the first half again and it seems to flow better. I will be working on this over the weekend and hope to have it done sooner than later. Maybe I should post it into parts, to keep the suspense up? Guess I will have to see when it is finished.
So just a short update, nothing to bitch, complain, or yell about for a change. I like it when I don’t have to voice my frustration. Means I can focus on more of the good stuff. Now I need to get my dogs outside, they are getting playful and over a 100 lbs of dog playing in the living room is not that much fun.
